Molcajete Grande

A delicious selection of marinated and grilled arrachera beef, chicken breast and six shrimp with grilled spring onions and nopal all served in a hot molcajete stone bowl with bubbling Oaxacan cheese. 

Served with beans, rice, tortillas and Fiesta Guacamole! 

This is a true Mexican specialty.  Molcajetes are volcanic stone bowls used as a mortar and pestle for grinding spices and making salsas by hand.  Nopal is the fleshy leaf of the cactus plant.  It is a delicacy and when grilled, it is succulent and delicious!  Enjoy!!!
